Yesterday, Argentina destroyed Mexico in Qatar to keep their Knockout Stage dreams alive. At the Lusali Stadium, Lionel Messi and Fernandes starred, cruising them into a 2-0 win. The first half was not exciting for many fans. Not a lot of chances were created so the first half ended 0-0. However in the second half, Argentina finally found their rhythm. Di Maria slotted a ball to Messi who shot from range into the back of the Mexico net. Then 23 minutes later, the Mexico defence broke again and substitute Enzo Fernandez scored a magnificent curler. This win made Mexico’s Knockout stage chances diminished. Finally, the Paris Saint Germain star had finally scored the goal.

Argentina had more possession of the ball with 59%. After a incredible performance from the Argentinian side, Alexis Mac Allister collected the Man of the Match Award with a 7.66 rating.
