Yesterday, Manchester United thrashed Charlton Athletic to proclaim their spot in the semi finals of the EFL Cup. The League One side had put up a fight but Man Utd were just too good for them. This all started in the 21st minute when Brazilian Antony scored a outrageous curler to put Man Utd ahead. The next 69 minutes were tough for Man Utd, following shots from Fred, Garnacho and Eriksen. Finally, in the 90th minute, Marcus Rashford beat the offside trap and scored. The big man scored again in the 90 +4 minute, blasting the ball into the top corner. This was another of Marcus Rashford’s match-winning performances.

Man Utd had 69% of the ball, beating Charlton’s 31%. After a superb performance from the 25 year old he proclaimed the Man of the Match Award yet again. Man Utd will be playing in the semi finals of the EFL Cup.
