Yesterday, Man City managed to beat Arsenal to enter the 5th Round of the FA Cup after hard-working 1-0 display, with Nathan Ake scoring his first ever FA Cup goal. This game started with chances from both sides, but none of them could find the net. Tomiyasu, Nketiah, De Bruyne, Haaland and Trossard had a few shots to put their team in front. Unfortunately, nobody could score in the first half.
Suddenly, in the second half, Man City came alive. In the 64th minute, Grealish slipped a pass into Nathan Ake, who placed it past Matt Turner. Arsenal had a few more chances to equalise but sadly they could not do anything about Manchester City’s match-winning performance. Leonardo Trossard sadly did not get the debut that he wanted, after being signed earlier in this week.
Manchester City ended up with 54% of the ball, beating Arsenal’s 46%. The Man of the Match Award went to Nathan Ake with a 7.40 rating after that superb shot. Manchester City will be playing against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League at White Hart Lane with Arsenal facing Everton at Goodison Park.
