Today, Tottenham faced Preston at Deepdale Stadium. Tottenham cruised past them despite not having Harry Kane due to a illness. However, that did not stop Spurs from winning. This game started with lots of chances for Tottenham Hotspur, but sadly they could not find the net in the first half with Son and Kulusevski getting chances to take the lead.
Although in the second half, Tottenham came alive. In the 50th minute, Son hit a outrange stunner past the Preston Goalkeeper and into the back of the net. That wasn’t the end of the game, either. In the 69th minute, Son scored again. Perisic slipped a ball into Son Heung Min, who turned and hammered it past the keeper once again. Although there was still time to get one more goal for Tottenham. Kulusevski passed to Danjuma who slotted it past the keeper. This was Danjuma’s first goal as he was bought earlier in the week.
Tottenham Hotspur ended up with 69% of the ball, beating Preston’s 31%. The Man of the Match Award went to Son Heung Min after his incredible performance with a 7.91 rating. Tottenham will be facing Manchester City once again at White Hart Lane with Preston facing Bristol City.
