On Sunday, Tottenham shocked Manchester City at White Hart Lane 1-0. This kept their top 4 dreams alive. Tottenham are in 5th place, 1 point behind Newcastle. This game started in the 15th minute, when a loose ball from Manchester City was collected by Hojbjerg, who slipped a magnificent pass to Harry Kane, who calmly slotted it past Ederson. This was the record breaking moment. Harry Kane has scored 267 goals for Tottenham, overtaking Jimmy Greaves’s record of 266. The game carried on with chances for both sides but Manchester City were unable to fight back to end their winless run at Spurs. It was more likely that Spurs would not win after Cristian Romero was sent off in the 87th minute after tackling Grealish, bringing Tottenham to 10 men.

Manchester City ended up with 65% of the ball, beating Tottenham’s 35%. The Man of the Match Award went to Harry Kane, after his exceptional performance, making a 8.29 rating. Tottenham will be playing against Leicester away on Saturday with Man City playing against Aston Villa on Sunday at the Etihad Stadium. Who will win? We will find out soon enough.
