On Saturday, Chelsea faced Leicester at the King Power Stadium. They destroyed them 3-1 to ease the pressure off Chelsea manager, Graham Potter. This game started in the 11th minute, when Koulibaly swooped in a fabulous cross into Ben Chilwell who hit it first time past the Leicester goalkeeper. 1-0! It nearly became 2-0 when Joau Felix’s shot struck the post. Leicester could have equalised when Dewsbury Hall hit a superb effort that hit the bar. A very close chance to put things back on terms for Leicester City. This should have been a warning sign for Chelsea because in the 39th minute, Ricardo Pereira passed to Daka, who it a swerving shot past Kepa Arrizabalaga. However, Chelsea were just to good for Leicester City. In the 45+6 minute, Enzo Fernandez chipped a brilliant cross to Kai Havertz who flicked it past the keeper. Leicester were so close to equalising again when Castogne hit a beautiful volley flicked on by Henry Souttar which was blocked off the line by Gallagher. It was clear the Leicester City were a lot more comfortable in the second half. Suddenly, the Foxes switched off and Chelsea scored again. Mudryk headed a nice cross into Mateo Kovacic, who hit a fantastic volley past Danny Ward. Before the end of the match drama took place when Leicester defender Faes pulled out on of his terrible tackles. He was already on a yellow card and the referee sent him off.

Chelsea ended up with more possession than Leicester City with 52%, beating Leicester’s 48%. The Man of the Match Award wen to Ben Chilwell with a 8.08 rating. Chelsea will be facing Everton on Saturday with Leicester facing Brentford. Who will win? We will find out soon enough.

MATCH OF THE WEEK: Aston villa 1-0 man city

Aston Villa beat Manchester City on Sunday to win their 4th consecutive win. In a tight match Matty Cash scored a spectacular volley from a corner and the Villains did brilliantly throughout to stop Erling Haaland and Man City.
