Yesterday, Manchester United faced Fulham at Old Trafford in the FA Cup. Man Utd just slipped past them after some controversy during the game. This game started with lots of chances for the visitors with Robinson, Willian and Diop getting chances to take the lead. Finally, in the 50th minute, Mitrovic scored after a super cross from Andreas Pereira. It nearly became 2-0 when Mitrovic hit a beautiful header that was saved by De Gea. Controversy took place at the end of the game when Sancho’s shot seemed to have hit the hand of Willian. The referee awarded a penalty and Willian was sent off. Unfortunately, striker Mitrovic and manager Bruno Silva did not agree with this and they both ended up getting sent off. Bruno Fernandes stepped up and sent the keeper the wrong way. It got worse for Fulham when Sancho passed to Shaw and Shaw passed to Sabitzer who flicked it over the keeper. Then, to wrap it up, Fred slipped a beautiful pass to Fernandes , who hammered it past the keeper.

Manchester United ended up with 56% of possession, beating Fulham’s 44%. The Man of the Match Award went to De Gea with a 6.85 rating.
