Hello and welcome to the transfer page of mylivefootballnews.co.uk. Yesterday, we had news that Manchester United had signed Hojlund from Atalanta for 72 million on a five-year deal. He quoted “I dreamed of walking out at Old Trafford as a Manchester United player.” He will be Ten Hag’s 3rd summer signing, after new signings Mason Mount and Andre Onana. The former Atalanta Striker scored 10 goals in 34 appearances last season before leaving Atalanta to go to Man Utd. Unfortunately, Holjund will be missing the first few games of the season due to an injury in pre-season. He began his career in Copenhagen making his debut at 17 years old in 2020. Although, in less than 2 years later he joined Austrian side Sturm Graz. After joining in January 2022, he went on to score 12 goals in 21 appearances for the club. That caught some attention from Serie A side Atalanta and eventually he was signed for 15 million. He made his international debut in 2022 and scored 6 goals in 6 games in the Euro 2024 qualifying.
