Burnley started with the lead when Koleosho passed to Foster who calmly slotted it past Vicario. 1-0! In a blink of an eye Spurs equalised when Manor Solomon slipped a pass to Son, who chipped it over the keeper. 1-1! Tottenham scored again in stoppage time through Cristian Romero when he blasted a beautiful shot into the corner. 2-1!

In the second half, Tottenham came out with lots of goals. After a bad mistake by Burnley, Maddison took over before curling a beautiful shot into the bottom corner. 3-1! Solomon passed to Son who buried it in the top corner 4-1! Porro slotted a pass to Son and he placed it past the keeper 5-1! Burnley got one back but they knew it was not enough.
