Hello and welcome to mylivefootballnews.co.uk. Today I will be talking about Brentford’s draw against Bournemouth. The game started with controversy after Jensen hit a brilliant freekick that was saved by the keeper. Although Brentford players saw the ball hit the line before the goalkeeper was able to get it out. The Referee went to VAR and after a quick check he decided that the goal would stand. 1-0! Brentford nearly made it 2-0 when Schade smashed the post. Suddenly, Bournemouth equalised when Solanke skipped past 2 players and slotted it past the keeper. 1-1! Brentford hit the post again and this time it was Wissa who had came so agonisingly close to take the lead. It just was not Brentford’s day. They hit the post for the third time when Onyeka swooped in a brilliant cross into Lewis-Potter who hit the post. Shortly after that, Bournemouth took the lead after some terrible errors that led to David Brooks placing the ball in the net. 2-1! Thankfully for Brentford, Mbeumo saved the day when he came one on one with the goalkeeper to equalise. 2-2!
