The game started with a great chance for Spurs when Kulusevski crossed it in to Richarlison who blasted it over the bar. Richarlison caught another chance to score when Maddison passed to the Brazilian Striker which was saved by the diving Kaminski. Spurs attacked again and this time it was Pedro Porro’s shot that went wide of the post. The Luton goalkeeper made another beautiful save when Kulusevski cut inside and tried to curl it into the bottom corner. Suddenly, Spurs went down to 10 men when Bissouma dived and tried to make a free-kick. He was already on a yellow card and due to this the Tottenham midfielder was sent off. Due to that, Luton nearly took the lead when Ogbene passed to Adebayo who could not find the net for the Hatters. Finally, Tottenham took the lead when Maddison passed to Van de Ven who placed it past Kaminski. Luton had a chance just at the end of the game when Doughty curled a shot that went out for a corner.
