Hello and welcome to mylivefootballnews.com. Today I will be talking about the match between Liverpool and Everton. The game started with controversy when Ashely Young slid into a very dangerous tackle. The 38 year-old was already on a yellow card and eventually, Everton were down to 10 men. Liverpool had a great chance to score when Trent Alexander Arnold hit a very dangerous volley that seemed to have smacked the hand one of the Everton defenders. Unfortunately for Liverpool, the penalty did not stand. The Reds appealed for another penalty when DIaz was brought down by Patterson , but the referee disagreed and the penalty did not stand again for Liverpool. Liverpool complained for another penalty and this time the referee pointed to the spot. Salah stepped up and smashed the ball past Jordan Pickford. 1-0! Liverpool nearly made it 2-0 when Nunez dribbled through before crossing the ball in that was early headed into it’s own net by Branthwaite. Liverpool had another brilliant chance when Harvey Elliot hit a swerving effort that sent Pickford flying. Eventually in stoppage time Liverpool doubled their lead when Nunez passed to Salah who tapped the ball into the bottom corner. 2-0!
