The game started with a goal for Chelsea in the 4th minute when Malo Gusto’s pass deflected to Conor Gallagher who hit a superb shot past Onana and into the net. Chelsea doubled their lead in the 19th minute, when Cucurella went down in the penalty box after getting fouled by Antony. The referee pointed to the spot and Palmer swiftly placed the ball past the keeper. 2-0! Manchester United however got back into the match in the 34th minute when a poor clearance by Moises Caicedo led to Garnacho being one on one with the keeper and he blasted the ball past Petrovic and into the bottom corner. 2-1! It got worse for Chelsea 5 minutes later when Dalot’s cross was headed in by Bruno Fernandes. 2-2! The Blues were struck by another blow in the second half when Antony played a beautiful cross to Garnacho who headed the ball past Petrovic. 2-3! It seemed that it would be all over for Chelsea. However that was not what happened. In the 90+10 minute, Chelsea were awarded a penalty when Dalot fouled Madueke in the penalty box. Palmer stepped up and placed the ball past Onana. 3-3! Then 1 minute later, Palmer scored again when his swerving shot was deflected off McTominay and into the bottom corner. 4-3! GAME OVER!

Chelsea ended the game with 57% of possession, beating Manchester United’s 43%. The Man of the Match Award went to Cold Palmer with a 6.88 rating. Manchester United host Liverpool on Sunday, while Chelsea go away to Sheffield United on Sunday too.
