Man City finally took the lead in the 47th minute when Rico Lewis hit a beautiful volley into the bottom corner. 1-2! Erling Haaland got his goal in the 66th minute when De Bruyne passed to the Norwegian who slid it past the keeper. De Bruyne scored again in the 70th minute when he hit a brilliant left footed shot into the corner. 1-3! Palace got a goal back when Edouard scored. 2-4!
Crystal Palace ended the match with 24% of possession with Manchester City getting 76%. The Man of the Match Award went to Kevin De Bruyne with a 7.50 rating. Man City play Luton Town on Saturday and Crystal Palace go away to Liverpool on Sunday.
