Hello and welcome to mylivefootballnews.com. Today I will be talking about the match between Man City and Man Utd. Man City started the game with a penalty appeal when Gvardiol played a super cross to Haaland but he was pushed by Lisandro Martinez. After a quick check the referee said it was not a penalty. Man Utd took the lead in the 30th minute when Dalot played a long ball to Garnacho and after some miscommunication from Gvardiol and Ortega, Garnacho tapped the ball into the net. 1-0! The Red Devils nearly doubled their lead when Garnacho played a brilliant cross to Rashford to score. But it was not to be. Garnacho and Rashford were clearly offside so it would stay 1-0 for now. Soon after that decision, Man Utd struck again in the 39th minute when Rashford played a pin point cross to Garnacho who passed to Fernandes who played it to Kobbie Mainoo who guided the ball past Ortega and into the bottom corner. 2-0! City nearly got a goal back when Doku passed to Haaland whose shot smacked the crossbar. CLOSE! The Blues had another go when Kyle Walker hit a sumptuous strike that was saved by Andre Onana. City got another chance when Julian Alvarez shot the ball past Onana but just wide of the target. The Reds had another chance to score when Garnacho skipped past Gvardiol, before releasing a shot that was saved by Ortega. Kyle Walker had another go but again it was saved by Onana. Man City got a goal back when Foden passed to Doku who swerved past Garnacho before releasing a powerful shot that slipped through Onana and into the net. 1-2! However it was not to be for Man City. After one last free-kick by Fernandes the fulltime whistle blew and Man Utd WERE THE FA CUP CHAMPIONS OF 2024!
