Hello and welcome to mylivefootballnews.com. Today I will be talking about the match between Germany and Scotland. The score was 5-1. The game started with a goal for Germany in the 10th minute when Kroos played a long ball to Kimmich who passed to Wirtz who struck the ball past the Scotland keeper and into the net. 1-0 It got worse for the Tartan Army in the 19th minute when Havertz passed to Musiala who hammered the ball into the top corner. 2-0! Things really started to crumble for the Scottish when Ilkay Gundogan was hacked down by Porteous in the penalty area. The Referee awarded a penalty and a red card for Porteous. Kai Havertz stepped up………. and sent the keeper the wrong way! 3-0! The Germans smashed in another goal in the 68th minute when Gundogan flicked the ball to Fullkrug who dribbled before smashing the ball past the keeper and into the top corner. 4-0! Scotland got something to remember from the first Euro 2024 game in the 87th minute when Antonio Rudiger headed the ball into the German net. It would stand as a own goal. 4-1! However, Germany were never going to give up there. In the 90+3 minute, Muller passed to Emre Can who hammered the ball into the bottom corner. 5-1! Finally the full-time whistle was blew. Scotland had well and truly been outplayed, outpaced by the hosts of the tournament, Germany.

Germany ended the game with 73% possession, beating Scotland’s 27%. The Man of the Match Award went to….. Jamal Musiala with a 8.47 rating.
