Hello and welcome to mylivefootballnews.com. Today I will be talking about the match between Aston Villa and Arsenal. The game started with a chance for Arsenal when Odegaard passed to Bukayo Saka who cut inside before hitting a curling shot was saved by Emi Martinez. CLOSE! Aston Villa missed a big chance too when Morgan Rogers passed to Ollie Watkins who somehow dragged his shot wide of the post. The Gunners attacked again and nearly scored when Martinelli played a beautiful cross to Kai Havertz who hit his shot very wide of the post. We saw the save of the season when Andre Onana hit a shot that deflected off an Arsenal defender and was saved by Raya before the rebound came to Ollie Watkins whose header was somehow denied by David Raya. Eventually, Arsenal found the breakthrough when Saka passed the ball straight to Trossard who first-timed the ball past Martinez and into the bottom corner. 0-1! 10 minutes later it got worse for the Home side when Saka dribbled through their defence before passing back to Partey who hit a powerful shot into the bottom corner. 0-2! The Gunners nearly tripled their lead when Declan Rice played a great pass to Odegaard who blasted his shot over the bar.

Aston Villa ended the game with 39.3% of possession, with Arsenal getting 60.7% . The Man of The Match Award went to David Raya with an 8.58 rating.
