Chelsea sign Jadon Sancho from Manchester United on a loan deal till the end of the season. The England international joined Man Utd for 73 million from Borussia Dortmund but after 3 full seasons and a big fall out with Man Utd Manager Erik Ten Hag he eventually went on loan back to Borussia Dortmund where he starred in the Champions League with a Man of the Match Performance in the semi-finals against Paris Saint Germain. He made 83 appearances as a Red Devil but he struggled to get the best out of his form and even after a great loan period at Borussia Dortmund Jadon Sancho was still on the bench. He managed to get 23 caps for England but his last appearance as a Three Lion was only in 2021. At Chelsea, Sancho will be competing for a spot in the starting line-up against Cole Palmer, Noni Madueke, Pedro Neto, Nicolas Jackson, Christopher Nkunku, Mykhailo Mudryk, Joao Felix and Marc Guiu.

Arsenal sign Raheem Sterling on a loan deal for the rest of the season. The 29 year old will be staying at Arsenal for the rest of the Premier League season. He will have to compete with the likes of Bukayo Saka, Leandro Trossard, Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz for a spot in their line-up. He quoted” It’s an unbelievable feeling, It’s really exciting. The England International made 81 appearances for the Blues, scoring 19 goals since signing from Manchester City for 50 million in 2022. Soon after Mauricio Pochettino left, he was cast out by new Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca saying that he and Ben Chilwell are not part of his plans. So at Arsenal he will be given the chance to be reunited with Pep Guardiola’s former assistant, Mikel Arteta who is know Arsenal’s manager. Raheem Sterling has also been capped 82 times for England being a vital player at Euro 2020 for the Three Lions.

Manchester United sign Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint Germain. The 23 year old was signed for 42.1 million with a potential sum of 8.4m in a add-ons. He will become the Red Devils fifth signing of the Summer transfer window after signing Joshua Zirkzee, Mazaroui, De Ligt and Leny Yoro. The Uruguay international made 37 appearances last season for PSG, lifting them to another Ligue 1 title. He quoted ” It is an incredible feeling to join a club of this magnitude; one that is admired all around the world. The new Manchester United man may be involved in Manchester UNITED’S blockbuster match against Liverpool on SUPER SUNDAY!

In other news, Crystal Palace signed Eddie Nketiah from Arsenal for 30 million and Matt Turner from Nottingham Forest. Ivan Toney signed for Al Ahil for 40 million and Everton signed Armando Broja from Chelsea on a season-long loan.

MATCH OF THE WEEK: Aston villa 1-0 man city

Aston Villa beat Manchester City on Sunday to win their 4th consecutive win. In a tight match Matty Cash scored a spectacular volley from a corner and the Villains did brilliantly throughout to stop Erling Haaland and Man City.
