Hello and welcome to mylivefootballnews.com. Today I will be talking about the match between Manchester United and Brentford. The score was 2-1. The game started with a chance for Brentford when Janelt played a brilliant cross to Schade who just missed it. The Red Devils had a good chance when Martinez flung himself at a header that was straight at Flekken who spilt the ball before Rasmus Hojlund followed in with a flick. Somehow the keeper managed to save it. Man Utd kept up the attacking when Casemiro passed to Alejandro Garnacho whose shot was saved by Flekken at the near post. The Bees attacked and they nearly scored when Norgaard hit a powerful curling shot that was tipped over by Andre Onana. CLOSE! The game had to stop because De Ligt had been hit in the face and there was a little bit of blood on his head. Therefore Man Utd were down to 10 men for a corner kick while De Ligt was treated. Damsgaard swung the ball into the box which was headed in by Ethan Pinnock. 1-0! Manchester United equalised with emphatic fashion when Rashford played a brilliant cross-filed pass to Garnacho who volleyed it past Flekken and into the net. 1-1! Man Utd nearly scored again with Garnacho when he cut inside before hitting a powerful shot that was saved by Flekken. CLOSE! It seemed that eventually Manchester United would find the breakthrough. In the 62nd minute, Eriksen passed to Bruno Fernandes who played a pass to Rasmus Hojlund who lobbed the keeper to give the Red Devils the lead for the first time in this match. 2-1! They nearly tripled their advantage when Andre Onama played a fabulous ball to Diogo Dalot whose shot was unluckily straight at the keeper. CLOSE!

Manchester United ended the game with 50.4% of the possession, beating, Brentford’s 49.6%. The Man of the Match Award went to Alejandro Garnacho
