Tottenham made it 2-0 when Kulusevski passed to Pape Sarr on the edge of the penalty box and he hit a first- time, dipping shot that squirmed past Ortega and into the net. 2-0! Manchester City got a goal back when Savinho burst past Udogie before playing a brilliant ball to Matheus Nunes who volleyed the ball past Vicario and into the net. 2-1! Spurs had another big chance when Solanke played a brilliant pass to Timo Werner, who was one on one with the keeper but he dragged it just wide of the post. Tottenham had another big chance when Kulusevski hit a powerful shot that smacked away by the gloves of Ortega. The Sky Blues nearly brought it level when Wright hit a powerful curling shot that went just wide of the post. Man City made another huge mistake and Tottenham nearly capitalised on it when Richarlison’s shot was saved by Ortega. Manchester City had another chance to equalise when O’Reilly hit a nice shot towards goal but it was blocked off the line by Bissouma to grant Tottenham the victory.
Tottenham ended the match with 31.6% of possession, losing out to Man City 68.4%. The Man of the Match Award went to Dejan Kulusevski with a 7.76 rating.
