Chelsea missed a big chance when Jackson hit a brilliant shot that was saved by the keeper before it cam out to Palmer whose shot was blocked by his teammate Noni Madueke. CLOSE! The Blues made it 2-0 when Cucurella played a brilliant cross in the box that was flicked on by Jackson. His header was saved by the keeper but Enzo Fernandez headed it in on the rebound. 0-2! Leicester got a penalty in stoppage time when Mavididi played a brilliant pass to Bobby De Cordova Reid who was fouled in the penalty area. The Referee pointed to the spot. Ayew stepped up…… and smashed the ball past the keeper. 1-2!
The Blues ended the match with 63.3% of possession, beating Leicester’s 36.7%. The Man of the match went to Nicolas Jackson with a 7.71 rating.
