The big man, Strand larsen also had another chance to score when Rodrigo Gomes played a brilliant ball into the box that was headed on by Strand Larsen and smacked away by Matz Sels. Forest thought they had ap eanlty when Aina’s cross seemed to have hit Ait-Nouri’s hand but it was not to be. After a VAR check, the penalty was not given. They did not give up after that penalty decision though. In the 44th minute Hudson Odoi skipped past Matt Doherty before playing a brilliant pass to Chris Wood who tapped it into the far corner. 0-2!
In the second half, Wolves had a huge chance to get a goal back when Goncalo Guedes passed to Strand Larsen who hit a dipping, powerful shot that was saved yet again by Matz Sels. Forest mad it even worse for Wolves when Hudson Odoi passed to Ward-Prowse who passed to Taiwo Awonyi who tapped it into the net. 0-3!
Wolves ended the match with 60.8% possession, beating Forest’s 39.2%. The Man of The Match Award went to Morgan Gibbs-White with a 8.53 rating.
