Hello and welcome to mylivefootballnews.com. Today I will be talking about the match between Arsenal and Fulham. The score was 2-1. The game started with an huge injury blow for Arsenal when Gabriel put his hand in the air before falling down on the ground. The Gunners had a chance to make up for that when Martinelli dribbled his way past Timothy Castagne before placing a cross that was hit first-time by Nwaneri but his shot was saved by Leno. CLOSE! Arsenal took the lead in the 37th minute when timber played a lovely pass to Nwaneri, who passed it to Mikel Merino, whose shot deflected off a Fulham defender and into the net. 1-0! In the second half, Fulham had a great chance to score when Raul Jimenez hit a stinging shot that was saved by Raya. The Gunners doubled their lead in the 73rd minute, when Merino and Martinelli played a lovely one-two before Martinelli played it across to Bukayo Saka who headed it home to score on his return. 2-0! Fulham had a huge chance to get back into the game when Iwobi played a lovely cross to Muniz who headed it wide from an angle he should have scored from. They did get their goal however in injury time, when Ryan Sessegnon played it across to Muniz whose shot deflected off Saliba and into the corner. 2-1! It was too little, too late for the away team.

Arsenal ended the match with 50.9% of possession beating, Fulham’s 49.1%. The Man of the Match Award went to the man who made his return to Arsenal, Bukayo Saka with a 8.37 rating! Arsenal go to Goodison Park for the very last time and Fulham face the soon to be Champions, Liverpool.
