Hello and welcome to mylivefootballnews.com. Today I will be talking about the match between Leicester and Newcastle. The game started with a chance for Leicester when Ndidi played a flicked-on header to Jamie Vardy whose shot was saved by Nick Pope on his near post. CLOSE! After that early chance, the Magpies took the lead when Barnes dribbled past one defender before playing Tino Livramento on the overlap before he crossed it to Jacob Murphy who tapped it in. 1-0! It became 2-0 in quick succession when Fabian Schar played a lovely long-range shot from the halfway line that hit the cross bar before Jacob Murphy hammered it in to make miserable for Leicester. 2-0! The Foxes had a chance to get back into it when El Khannouss dribbled on that left side before hitting a powerful shot that was saved by Nick Pope. Newcastle made it 3 before halftime when Isak dribbled and hit a powerful shot that was blocked and it came out to Joelinton who hit another powerful shot that was saved by the keeper before Harvey Barnes tapped it in to make it 3-0. The former Leicester man muted his celebrations to show respect for the club that took him on the rise. In the second half, Livramento passed to Schar who hit another blistering shot that was saved by the keeper to keep things at 3-0. Buananotte played a lovely corner kick that was flicked on by Wout Faes but his header went just wide of the post. and that is how the game ended. 3-0 to the Magpies

Leicester ended the match with 57.6% of possession, beating Newcastle’s 42.4%. The Man of the Match Award went to Jacob Murphy with a 7.59 rating. Newcastle play host to Man Utd next Sunday and Leicester play go to Brighton, hoping to start scoring goals with Ruud Van Nistelrooy as their manager.
