Hello and welcome to mylivefootballnews.com. Today I will be talking about the match between Wolves and Tottenham. The game started with a goal for Wolves when Bellegarde played a lovely free-kick that was punched out by Vicario but it came back to Rayan Ait-Nouri who volleyed it past Vicario and into the corner. 1-0! Wolves nearly scored again when Vicario played straight to Semedo who passed it to Strand Larsen who blasted it wide. CLOSE! Spurs had a chance to get back into the game when Maddison passed it to Bissouma who hit a powerful swerving shot that was smacked away by Jose Sa. It became worse for the away team however when Ait-Nouri played a brilliant cross that was flicked on by Munetsi and Vicario pushed the ball straight to Djed Spence’s stomach and it rolled into the net. 2-0!

Tottenham got a goal back in the second half when Bergvall dribbled forward before playing a great through ball to Brennan Johnson who crossed it in for Tel to tap in. 2-1! It only became worse for Spurs however when Romero was dispossessed by Ait-Nouri and he passed it to Strand Larsen who tapped it home. 3-1! Ange’s team got another goal back when Bergvall crossed it in from a corner and it was flicked on by Ben Davies before Romero’s header went smashing off the cross bar before Richarlison scored on the rebound to get another chance of getting something out of this game. 3-2! There were taking advantage of again by Wolves when Bergvall was dispossessed and Cunha hammered it past the keeper to end this twisty-turn match.

Spurs ended the match with 62.6% of possession, beating 37.4 % of Wolves’ possession. The Man of the Match Award went to Strand Larsen with a 8.17 rating. Spurs play Frankfurt in the second leg of the Europa League quarter final and Wolves go to Manchester to face man Utd in the Premier League.
