Ever since James Maddison suffered a horrible ACL injury against Newcastle in pre-season, Spurs have been looking for the best number 10 to replace him as the Premier League season will be starting soon. They have already opened talks for Savinho, a player that could play in a number 10 position, but it seems that the Lilywhites want a proper number 10. Crystal Palace on the other hand seem pretty desperate to keep their players ever since Eze was a huge part of the team that helped them win the FA Cup and only 2 days ago, the FA Community Shield. Since they will be playing in the Europa Conference League this year, it is important that they keep their best players to progress and do well. Spurs have already lost out on a number 10 in this transfer window, with Gibbs-White deciding to stay at Nottingham Forest, so it is repulsively important that they can get Eze, ideally before the Premier League starts.
