In the second half, Aston Villa had a chance to score when McGinn placed a brilliant cross that was headed on by Kamara and saved by Nick Pope. The Villains had another chance to score when Amadou Onana passed to Youri Tielemans, who passed to Rogers, who dribbled before passing it to Ollie Watkins, who cut inside before hitting a powerful shot that was saved by Pope.
