Hello and welcome to mylivefootballnews.com. Today I will be talking about the match between Liverpool and Manchester United. The game started with a goal for United in the second minute when Bruno Fernandes passed to Amad Diallo, who played a lovely through-ball to Bryan Mbeumo, who hammered it past the keeper and into the net. 0-1! Liverpool had a huge chance to equalise when Mo Salah played it to Cody Gakpo, who cut inside and hit the right post. CLOSE! Man Utd had a great chance to double their lead when Cunha played a brilliant cross-filed pass to Amad, who dribbled at Kerkez forcing him back before laying it off to Bruno Fernandes whose shot hit the post and out. The home Reds hit the post again through Cody Gakpo when Virgil Van Dijk played a lovely pass to Mac Allister which bounced up to Isak, who played it to Cody Gakpo who dribbled at Bruno Fernandes before placing a brilliant cross that hit the post AGAIN! Liverpool had another huge chance to scored when Konate played a brilliant through ball to Alexander Isak whose shot was saved by the legs of Erik Lammens. Anfield saw another chance hit the post again for the third time today when Mo Salah played it out for Cody Gakpo who cut outside and hit a ferocious shot that hit the far post again! Liverpool finally got their ball when Wirtz played it out to Milos Kerkez who slid right across the face of goal and it was tapped in by Cody Gakpo, the man that could have 4 goals today if luck had been on his side. 1-1! This all would seem as a waste of time later when Bruno Fernandes booted it right up into the air and it was headed on by Harry Maguire into the bottom corner. 1-2! THRILLER! The Reds had one more chance to score when Frimpong took on Patrick Dorgu and played a brilliant cross that was headed wide by guess who, Cody Gakpo. That was deemed to be the last chance for Liverpool to salvage something from this game. FULL TIME: Man Utd have won against Anfield for the first time since 2016, nearly a decade ago.

The game ended with Liverpool having 63.5% of possession beating the Red Devils’ 36.5%. The Man of the Match Award went to Harry Maguire for his brilliant winner.
