Hello and welcome to the story page of myilvefootballnews.com. Today, I will be describing Paul Pogba’s year in Turin and how he can look to improve. Back in July 2022, after he departed from Manchester United, he joined his former club Juventus for the first time since 2015. Juventus were very happy to have their star midfielder back and they thought this would bring them back to European glory. Sadly, that was easier said than done.

Pogba’s return to Italy was a complete disaster. He injured his right knee during a pre-season tour in the USA. Even though, he was advised to have surgery to make the World Cup, this year he decide to go with another option which went wrong. The surgery in September forced him to miss out on the World Cup as his French teammates lost to Argentina in the World Cup final. Then, he had another muscle strain that kept him out till the 28th February, when he made his return as a sub in the Turin derby. Pogba was then dropped from the Europa League tie against Freiburg in March for authority reasons, and had another thigh injury taking free-kicks in training.

Finally, when Pogba made his return against Cremonese, he wanted put all of his troubles behind him. All the fans roared his name. They couldn’t wait to see him in action.

Unfortunately, his return only lasted 24 minutes. A wince of pain spread across Pogba ‘s face and he fell into tears of sadness. The fans could not believe it. It had been a year since he returned and he could not even survive 24 minutes on a football pitch. This certainly was not what they were hoping for.

Let’s see what Paul Pogba can do to have a better season.
