Hello and welcome to mylivefootballnews.com. Today I will be talking about a match between Tottenham and Everton. The score was 1-0. The game started with a chance for Spurs when Porro’s deflected cross was pushed away by Pickford before Van De Ven headed it onto Conor Gallagher, who took a touch to take it past Rohl before hammering a shot into the side-netting. CLOSE! Porro whipped the ball into the box again this time from a free-kick, and it was headed on by Bentancur, and the ball bobbled out to Palhinha, but his shot went well over the bar. There was a bit of controversy halfway through the first half when Van De Ven seemed to have slid into a challenge on Rohl, but ended up hurting himself on his ankle due to Rohl’s studs going right on the bottom of his calf. However, there was no check, and play resumed between the teams. Spurs took the lead late in the first half when Tel whipped a brilliant cross into the box from a corner, which came out to Palhinha, whose header hit the post, but it bounced straight back to him, and his sliding shot crept over the line. 1-0!

In the second half, Tottenham attacked again and nearly scored again when a ball was floated out to Djed Spence, who played a one-two with Conor Gallagher before hitting a powerful shot that Pickford fumbled and just managed to tip behind for a corner. This didn’t mean that Everton were out of the game yet. Tyrique George dribbled before playing it to Alcaraz, who found Michael Keane, who backheeled to George again, but as he slid it across the six-yard box, nobody was there to tap it in, and the Tottenham defenders cleared. Everton tried again but were unlucky not to score when Ndiaye ran at Spence before laying it back to Coleman, who whipped a ferocious cross into the box that was headed wide by Alcaraz. There was to be one more twist to the tale soon, however. George dribbled and swerved his way past Porro and Sarr before making his way into the penalty box and hitting a curling shot that was tipped over by Kinsky. WHAT A SAVE! Soon after that, the full-time whistle had blown. Spurs had done it. After a disastrous season that had 2 managers fail to bring any positivity into Spurs, De Zerbi stepped in, and with his seven matches in charge, his 3 wins, 2 draws, and 2 losses kept them in the top-flight, much to the disappointment of West Ham, who will go to the Championship despite destroying Leeds 3-0 at the London Stadium.

Tottenham ended the match with 49.8% of possession, with Everton having 50.2%. The Man of the Match Award went to Palhinha with a 7.21 rating. What’s next: Unfortunately, this is the end of the Premier League season. There have been some great moments throughout this 38-game season, but all good things have to come to an end. Next, there will be European finals to follow until the golden World Cup. Who will win it? One thing I can tell you is that this will not be the Summer of Boredom. Just like the weather is heating up, so is the football.
